From 1901 onwards the firm Ch.J.B. Collin-Mézin was run by Charles Louis Collin-Mézin (known as Collin Mezin Fils). This is a model inspired by Stradivarius with a slightly more pronounced arching, and is very typical of the models Charles Louis designed after 1923. It belongs to the «Soloist type» series and is therefore marked «Grand Prix».
